Illustration Friday Thumbnails

The theme on hand was "The number 5". I've composed a few thumbnail concepts of this theme for this weeks post. Admittedly, I was stumped on how to design a poster for this topic but I sought out some inspiration. I delved a little into Pinterest and took inspiration from my very own designs.

I really like the graphic approach of intricate and 3-D esk designs. Dimension and shape are valuable components of an overall composition.

Personally, I would take interest in further developing the bottom two thumbnails. The tie on dice is quite drawing to me, and I feel comfortable rendering the worm design, which I draw very often on my own time.

This week I began to etch out some ideas for a poster dedicated to the Pyeongchang 2018 Winter Olympic games. I've decided to focus on a local athlete, Gabrielle Daleman of Toronto, Ontario. She is a figure skater for team Canada and is competing in the 2018 games. The Office - Storyboarding Thumbnails Finished!

Hey readers, I've completed the greyscale and comps for this six frame skit. Here is a side by side comparison, with the script as reference. I finally had time to complete a lump some of the paintings. I haven't presented my ability well within previous posts I'll admit but I haven't had the time to put in work until now. A lot can happen when I have more time on my hands and fewer assignments to complete!  To paint this I used a handful of techniques, both learned at school and self-taught by programs like Skillshare and youtube tutorials. Skillshare is an amazing site with tons of useful tips for a variety of subjects, I would recommend checking it out. PyeongChang 2018 Poster

This week, as mentioned in my post last week, I have completed a poster for the PyeongChang 2018 winter Olympics. My poster was based on  Gabrielle Daleman  of Toronto, Ontario. She is a figure skater for team Canada and is competing in the 2018 games.
